There is no admission fee, but there is a hefty parking fee ($14.00 per vehicle as of April, 2017).

The North Carolina Arboretum covers 434 acres and provides 65 acres of cultivated gardens and 10 miles of hiking and biking trails. There are mountain views, gardens, and a Bonsai exhibit.

The Arboretum has one of the finest, most unique bonsai collections in the United States. Visit the the Bonsai Exhibition Garden to view these unique plants.

Each Saturday and Tuesday afternoon at 1:00p interpretive guides lead small groups through the gardens or take a self-guided walk on the Natural Garden Trail.

The Arboretum's 434 acres of natural beauty provides ample opportunities for all ages to connect with nature and learn how plants are important to our world.
